Newsletter
We send newsletters only with the explicit consent of the recipient or a legal permission. Our newsletters contain information and news about our company, products, software updates and events.
Registration
We use a double opt-in process for the newsletter registration. This is a 2-step process where the user must:
First enter their email address on our web-page and click subscribe.
Then the user will get a confirmation email which contains a confirmation link.The registration process is only completed when the user clicks the confirmation link.
This 2-step process makes sure that the user has entered a valid email address and that it is impossible to enter arbitrary email addresses to sign-up any other person.
The registration for the newsletter will be logged, to prove the registration process according to the legal requirements.
Service Provider
We use the services of MailerLite to handle our newsletters. We have signed a "Data-Processing-Agreement" with MailerLite, on data processing based on the GDPR.

Unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe anytime. An unsubscribe link is included in every newsletter.
Data Processor
If we process data on behalf of the customer (e.g. hosting the DaqMon software), there is a separate data protection declaration.
Data processing based on your consent
If you have voluntarily provided data about yourself, we process this data based on your consent for the following purposes:
To contact us or to make appointments for product or business presentations
For sending product or business information including the associated correspondence
Data for contracts
Certain data are required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, the contract cannot be concluded. Specific purposes are:
Implementation of pre-contractual measures that take place on your request (requirements analysis, consulting services, etc.)
Fulfilment of the contract (software installation, configuration, support, consulting services, etc.)
Fulfilment of legal documentation and transmission obligations, e.g. in the field of taxes and charges

If necessary, your personal data will be processed for the duration of the entire business relationship (from the initiation and fulfilment to the termination of a contract) and in accordance with the statutory retention and documentation obligations arising from the relevant laws, and until the termination of any legal disputes, ongoing warranty and guarantee periods, etc.
