Annotations can be displayed as vertical lines in the Recorder to mark points of interest and attach text. This can be created manually by a user in the web-application, or automatically via the uploader or alarms.

Expert users can manually create annotations in a dashboard.
You can enter arbitrary text and define if the annotation must be confirmed and if you want to send emails to interested users.
